1. Who I am

This website is operated by Nadia Pestry, an independent brand strategist and personal counselor based in Lisbon, Portugal. For any questions about this policy or your data, contact: nadiapestrymind@gmail.com.

2. What data I collect

  • Contact data: If you email me, use a contact form, or book a session, I receive your name, email address, and whatever you choose to include in your message.

  • Newsletter data: If you subscribe to Humans & Branding, your email address is collected and stored by Substack, the platform hosting the newsletter, for the purpose of sending you issues.

  • Usage data: If you accept cookies, Google Analytics collects anonymized information about how you use this site (pages visited, time on site, general location, device type). See the Cookie Policy for details.

3. Why I collect it

Contact data is used solely to respond to your enquiry or manage a working relationship. Newsletter data is used solely to deliver the newsletter. Usage data is used to understand how the site is used and to improve it. I do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Legal basis

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the legal basis for processing contact data is your consent (by contacting me) and, where applicable, the steps necessary to respond to your enquiry or enter into a working agreement. Newsletter data is processed based on your explicit consent when you subscribe. Analytics cookies are processed based on your explicit consent, given via the cookie banner.

5. How long I keep it

Email correspondence is kept for as long as reasonably necessary to manage our working relationship, and no longer than legally required for tax or accounting purposes where applicable. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 7).

6. Third parties

  • Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) processes anonymized usage data. Google may process this data outside the EU under its standard contractual clauses.

  • Substack, Inc. (US-based) hosts and processes newsletter subscriber data under its own privacy policy.

  • Squarespace, Inc. (US-based) hosts this website and processes data necessary for it to function, under its own privacy policy.

No other third parties receive your personal data through this site.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email nadiapestrymind@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), Portugal's data protection authority.

This policy may be updated from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
